What other deliberate messages have humans sent into space besides the Voyager Golden Record, and how do they compare in what they try to convey?
The last mission closed with a clear answer about one famous record. A comparison will show whether the patterns of what we choose to send are consistent or vary with the project.
These messages all chose the same approach. They presented basic physics and our location in simple diagrams or data. Later ones added images and text but kept the core focus on science facts that any advanced listener might recognize. Cultural details or human stories stayed out of the signals.
